The Danish Ministry for the Environment just released a new set of guidelines for public procurement. Major change since 2003 is that the guidelines cover not only tropical timber but timber from all zones in the world and that a FSC or PEFC certificate is considered valid documentation for legal and sustainably produced timber. It also points out a number of schemes as documentation for legal origin.
